Leadership in Pampanga

source : sent by kasaup blog reader

In the past few months, we have observed that the politicians in Pampanga are all in some ways good and better compared to the past 2 years of their incumbency. Roads are being repaired, classrooms are being constructed, hospitals have new rooms and have sufficient medicines and it seems that all of them are getting along well.

Hmm... it sounds intriguing but that is the reality. Everybody wants to look good! each and everyone of them shows valuable traits that they are good leaders and they deserve to be re-elected.

Before i thought that INFOMERCIALS only work well for those who want to run in the National Level but now in Pampanga, most of the incumbent ans aspiring public officials have their own and are regularly showed in a local free television station in Region III.

Is it worth being a Kapampangan? Definitely YES! but do we deserve to be called PROUDLY KAPAMPANGAN? Pampanga culture and heritage dictates that it really is something to be proud of. Kabalens belong to an ancestry line of heroes and great leaders. Bloodline filled with knowledge and people full of wisdom, generous people, love of culture and God fearing.

Ang sarap pakinggan pero hindi na po ito ang realidad sa ngayon. Some of the leaders with whom we entrusted are votes with and our childrens future with somehow did not do what we expect them to do. The past two years of leaderships both with the executive and legislative branch was filled up with controversies ending up with the distabilization of the province' capability to serve their people well.

Indeed infrastructure projects were done, livelihood trainings and employment opportunities were created, the education sector was uplifted and hospitals were upgraded but all of these accomplished projects were insufficient. Things could have been better if we have seen unity of Pampanga's Leaders.

Maybe instead of building 50km of road we have constructed a 200km road, except from upgrading hospitals we could have seen newly constructed ones. Except from providing employment opportunities, the Provincial Government should have given them employment themselves because of attracting investors in the province.

Pampanga could have done more, kapampangans deserve greater opportunities. How i wish that someday i could see a united Pampanga. One that is striving for greater things not only for the careers of the politicians but for the benefit of all of the Cabalens.

My dear readers, 2010 elections is already near, we can make things better by choosing the right leaders. Casting our votes to those whom we think who can do better and make us proud to be Kapampangans. And also, after casting our votes on May 2010, let us not entrust everything to these politicians. You also have an obligation to make sure that everything will be well by not being a liability of the province but by being someone who will work with them in every step of the way.

Let us consider those who have Puso at Malinis na Pangongobyerno, Galing at Talino, Sipag at Tiyaga at may pagmamahal sa bayan. Pampanga has surpassed several calamities but still kept its head high, may pag-asa pa tayo para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Let us prepare ourselves this coming election, get to know our aspiring leaders well and be a responsible Kapampangan to be able to call yourself PROUDLY KAPAMPANGAN!
